Oh, how I would have loved to receive this postcard in the mail. I just love it. The card was printed in Germany but I cannot make out the postal date.
On the front it reads:
A Glad Birthday
A simple card and a simple wish,
Is what I am sending you, dear.
May your birthday be happy, bright and gay,
And God's blessing be on the coming year.
The back reads:
To wish you many happy returns of the day.
With Best Love
From May

I wonder where that is, this card would never make it to it's destination these days.
Be sure to visit Marie's blog for her PFF #27 and you will find lots of great cards and info over there. Here is the link

OH, Debby - what a stunning postcard and such a beautiful face. I love old postcards and you have just reminded me that I have a stash of them somewhere. Will need to go looking for them this weekend. Think I will go and google Bierley Hill! Have a great weekend. M
Yes, what a lovely card! Just Googled Mill Street, Brierley Hill and it's showing lots of businesses located in the West Midlands in England. Did this card start it's journey in Germany and end up in Canada making somebody very happy in West Midlands along the way? Oh, if those lips could only speak!
Beautiful Card, I love old/vintage post cards, will have to see if I can find some around here.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
