Altered spoons

I messed around this weekend making a couple of altered spoons following Nancy Maxwell James instructions from the Artist Classes. They were lots of fun to make and actually are really pretty! I finished mine off a bit different then instructed and used a glaze over the image.
You can find lots of beautiful things here on Nancy's blog :   http://sugarlumpstudios.blogspot.com/
and the artist classes here: http://greenpaper.typepad.com/artist_class/

Also a big huge thanks to Sharon over at Wildflower House for the sunshine award!

http://wildflowerhouse.blogspot.com/ be sure to check her blog out, lots of inspiration there.

Your spoons are awesome! I've been thinking about taking that class, so it's nice to see an actual project by one of her students!

Thank you for sharing these--I have so much old silverware here, and thanks for the links. Everytime I come here, Mozart is playing--I love that music. You're probably getting tired of me telling you this too :)

Oh Debby Sweetie...
Thank you so much for stopping by Country Wings in Phoenix. I always get so excited when someone new pops in. I hopped right on over to say hi. I have signed up to follow your blog. I can't wait to see what you share next. I love crafts, but working 10-12 hour days I don't get as much time to create as I would like.

I love these spoons and I am going to give it my best shot. I think they just look so precious and what a clever idea. I am going to go and visit the link @ Nancy James artist classes that you shared with us. I can't wait. How cute in time for Easter. I'll be sure to let you know when I post them so you can see too.

Thank you so much for sharing. I also love your little critter that you won from the OWOH giveaway. I won something too that I will be posting later tonight.

Have a beautiful evening, and thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you will come back soon. Country hugs...Sherry

I am glad I found your blog. I have many old spoons and used to craft them into mini dried arrangements, but now just have them displayed in holder. There are just so many wonderful blogs out there with so many wonderful ideas. Come say hi at my blog, you might find an idea or two there.
