Aban Calista

One World One Heart Giveaway is below this post! Please leave a comment there to be entered in my giveaway.

WOW!! I am exhausted..I have been having so much fun blog hopping and checking out all the wonderful creations over at OWOH! It really is amazing to find so many new bloggers and explore all the great idea's and how we all create our own little world.

I belong to a group called the Recollection Parlor. The group is owned by Trudi Sissons and it is a place where the members are encouraged to create their own countries. I haven't spent much time at this as there seems to be so many things going on in the real world, it is hard to keep up. Our first project was to name our country. This was not easy, what do I love, how do I want my country to be, to come to life and been seen through the eyes of others..Hmmmm... not easy at all. As thoughts of Whimsy, Vintage and small children dance through my head it is hard to decide. Google, google..I need a country name..lol..I am not sure how or why but I decide to call my country Aban Calista. What?? Where did that come from? Aban Calista is a place that is associated with water and the arts. It is a Most Beautiful Place indeed.

Okay!!! We have a name for our country, first exercise create a 4x4 stamp for your country. Here we go again where do I begin. Anyone that knows me, knows I have a love for vintage children so that is a must. Off we go to create stamp. This is going to be fun. Papers, glue, ink, images..Stamp created.

As life would go I can't possibly keep up to group exercise's. Knew that would happen but will try to join in whenever possible.

Next exercise for me was discovering one of my children living on Aban Calista. So I would like to introduce you to Calista. Queen of Aban Calista.

Moving right along, after missing many exercises in between, this one caught my attention. Mutant/Chimera's, oh how fun. Off I go to work on my mutant's and send them off to my fellow country players. These mutant's are very odd, but love living in the land of Aban Calista.

Birdboon is very scary and feared by all in Aban Calista.

Libat is very friendly and majestic. He is loved by all and taken in by many to share their hearts and homes.

The deerbit loves roaming around in the dark of night, although feared by many it is a truly remarkable mutant.

Not sure what direction we will be heading next, but I know the journey will be fun and exciting.

Had to come back in and edit this post, just realized this post is #99. WOW!!! I started my blog last April and I am amazed that I have 99 post. When I hit 100 posts we will be having a little giveaway here. STAY TUNED!!! I will hold my giveaway after OWOH so we don't all get mixed up here. I am also closing in on 200 followers..wow..who really checks out my blog..so much fun to be followed..When I hit 200 followers I think that will be time for another giveaway celebration. Fingers crossed we will get there soon!

Congratulations on your 99th post and a really fun one! I especially love your stamp. And the mutants are quite magical. I agree with Melinda about the story book (I combined her ideas, actually). By the way, I wonder if deerbit is a relative of the North American Jackalope.
