Happy Summer!!!

I can't believe I am actually posting. It has been such a busy and hot, hot summer for me. I haven't really been able to do any fun things for a few weeks and haven't been feeling well all this week, slowly getting back to normal today. I am way behind on everything to do with my blog. I have made up my mind that I am going to visit each and everyone that joined WWC and the Sorority Girls, so if I haven't made it to your blog yet I will eventually get there. I only have a couple hundred to visit...lol...but I will get there. I have been trying to catch up on all my past due things today, maybe that will make me feel lots better. I enrolled in the Digital Magic Class and haven't had time to do one lesson yet. I think lesson 5 is going to be posted tomorrow but I will eventually make it to class also. I was to have Caryl's Essence of Dreams pages done in June and finally completed them today, so that makes me happy. She will forgive me though, as she knows I am way behind on things and she loves me. Caryl do you still love me?????

It has been well into the 100's for most of this week with the humidex and I am totally sick of it. This is far hotter than we are used too and I am hoping it moves out and stays out for the rest of the summer. Not a huge summer fan to begin with, love fall!!!

I will share my Dream pages for Caryl with you as they have been posted on the group site. Sorry to be so far behind on visiting all of you, next week should catch me up and I will be back to normal. Hope I haven't missed too much.

wow, you and I were lamenting our lack of posting in the heat of summer at the exact same time! I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one:)
Love the art - I'll have to look at the group site to see the Dream Pages!

OH, girlfriend, I know what you mean and how you feel. The thing here! Way too hot but this morn we got rain and it cooled down and I hope it stays that way for a while. Fall is my FAV time of the year too. Hey, take it slow, everyone will still be here tomorrow. Hugs, girlie girl.

Good to hear from you! It's been terrible here as well, weather wise. The heat wave is finally breaking today...hurray! Your Dream pages are lovely. I especially love the first one! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Theresa

Debby, our weather has been the same and I also am NOT a fan of summer. Give me a crisp, fresh autumn day anytime! Glad you are starting to feel better. The pages you did are wonderful!

Stay cool!

Hi Debbie,
Pretty, pretty, pretty!

I am not a fan of summer either, especially this one. It's too hot to do anything outdoors!!

I have been trying to get around to all the sorority sisters too.

OOOOoooh Debby Debby Debby! This work is stunning! I couldn't open it up fast enough when I saw the little photo! I had to make it extra-large. Oh how I adore them both but the first darling one of the girl with the big head (I'm partial to extreme proportions!) is just so darling and wonderful! Three cheers for you! Keep up the beautiful work!!!

Hang in there with the heat. I'm so sorry. I would be melting for sure.

Hugs,
Holly

Hi Debby, Your pages turned out very pretty! It looks like you're having fun with this class.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't feel good. With such a heat it's no wonder though. The last days have been very hot here too and I can't stand it either, especially without A/C. I love spring and fall so much more than summer and right now I would even trade for winter.

Hey girl! Hope you get back to feeling 100% soon. Have a beautiful Sunday!

Hope you get to feeling better. I hate HEAT too. And humidity is almost as bad as heat. Give me winter any day. I hope it cools for you soon.

Lovely art, too. I got a kick out of the rabbit with the cowgirls.

Perhaps we should exchange the weather for awhile. Send me some of that heat and I'll ship out some rain and wind from Scotland! Love the beautiful pages you've posted!

I have missed you too! I think I missed your post on the soap box challenge. Gosh! It is beautiful!
And these lastest creations are gorgeous too. I WANT your brain! I have such a hard time with collage and mixed media...I want so badly to make something beautiful, but I would never show any of the ones I've done after seeing all the great artwork going on out here.
So thus...I want your brain!

I love your Dream pages. They are so totallyl different, I love them both, but really love the darker one. Such fab images. Great job on them.
I hope that you feel much better soon. I know about the heat, we have been having record temps here, many over 100.

Heat and humidity are my least favourite things! And every piece of fruit in Salmon Arm, B.C. was ripe to boot - egads, I didn't think I could be that cranky! It's cooled off now so hopefully you will too! Your dream page is lovely - did you collage the paper images on a background or do it digitally? I've heard of people who do that so was curious..

Debby these are stunning, I truly love these. Can you share the bigger face image, where you got it? I think that is just an awesome face.
I feel just like you lately, this summer is nuts. I am not doing anything fun, hahaha.
Caryl will just adore these, marvelous Talent Debby, Wow !!
Have a great day and hope you get to do something fun for you.

Both pages are just insane girl! Love the one with the rabbit, for some reason that one really speaks to me. I would love to learn how to do that Digital layering & collage. I admire your dedication to visiting all 1000 posts or however many it is. Our summer with the kids home has been a challenge for me with the whole blog thing. I feel awful that I don't get to visit more, but you know how that goes....
have a happy day sweet girl. Lisa
