Bits & Bobs of this and that...

I have lots of different things to share with you today so this post is going all over the place. I am hoping to grab a few minutes later today to take some more pics of my treasures, if I get really, really lucky I could possibly have a couple of posts within a couple of days..lol..I think I am getting too old for this WORK STUFF, it seems to be cutting into my fun time. The older I get, the slower I get and just can't get everything accomplished that I would like to. I also think I may be a bit jealous that Tom has retired and he seems to think the only thing in the world to do now a days it hang out at the golf course. BLAH!!!!

Okay away we go!

I played in the recent swap over at http://aswapforallseasons.blogspot.com/ , Linda is a real sweetie and I love doing her fun swaps. This was something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, plus a wedding photo was to be added. I will only show a sneak peek as my partner hasn't received her box yet.

I am also playing in this fun soap box makeover deal,  over at http://tarnishedandtattered.blogspot.com/
Lisa is such a sweet girl and so much fun, she cracks me up every time she posts. Anyways the soap box is from Target, which we don't have in Canada and they do not ship to Canada so fingers crossed Lisa can get a box for me and I can play. I have the link to this fun challenge on my sidebar.

I am also going to join a blog  sorority over here at Karen's http://somedaysarediamonds-karen.blogspot.com/2010/05/sorority.html sounds like so much fun and Karen is another sweet girl to hang with. I also have the link for the sorority on my sidebar.

Also I have received some beautiful goodies in the mail the past week from blog wins and a purchase so I will share these with you also.

Look at this gorgeous, gorgesou tag I won from Jessica, it is so beautiful I love it. Thanks so much Jessica!

And then check out this awesome acrylic collage that I won from Penny over at http://www.pennybennington.blogspot.com/ this piece is absolutely gorgeous. It was beautiful on Penny's blog, but it is just incredible in real. Thank you Penny!!! I will treasure it always.

And now for my purchase, geesh no wonder I have to keep going to work. I think most of you know Liz http://lululizinlalaland.blogspot.com/, well she also has another blog where she sells some of her awesome finds from France here http://lululizinvintageland.blogspot.com/ and that is where I found these goodies. Thanks for everything Liz, it was a pleasure to get some treasures from you.

All wrapped up so pretty!

A beautiful tag Liz made and sent along with the parcel.

checkout this awesome ink well from Paris, it is really awesome.

and these old keys from Paris are amazing.

Have a great day, hope you enjoyed the goodies. Off to checkout some of my fav blogs.

You are going to have to buy me a new laptop Debby. I have DROOLED all over it looking at your post photos....slurp slurp slurp!!!

Wow doesn't cover it. That inkwell is THE BEST, the lacey gifts from your friends, and your ASFAS swap partner is going to LOVE what you are sending her.

Work is over-rated....quit and go antiquing and golfing with Tom. Life's too short not to have a good time!

Sending a big hug to you x 10!

Ooh, I love all your goodies! Love those keys especially!
Now I have to visit all those blogs you mentioned, they sound so interesting. Not right now, but later when I'm all pooped out!
Trying to remember where in Canada you are, I'm just outside Winnipeg. I'm thinking somewhere in BC but might have you confused with Lorraine over at Creative Daily, she's in Sechelt.
Have a great weekend, can't wait to see more pictures of your vintage treasures!

Alrighty Debby...you have to tell the truth here.
Now we are playing "Truth or Dare".
no wait..."Truth and Solution"
.
.
.
You cannot fit everything you got out of the dumpster over the past month AND all of these wonderful gifts in and around your home.
Answer: Truth.

Jodie is just so jealous...she's about to blow up green stuff (don't they call that "envy"?)
Answer: Truth.

You should send Jodie at least half of it (you can keep your favs) so she can store it for safe keeping (she has plenty room)
Answer: Solution!!!!!!

Seriously girl...YOU have got to be the most BA-LESSED person I've ever seen. How much do you tip your mailman???? What's the going rate???? I need to work on mine!!!!

okay...I'm laughing too hard...but I really think I'm about to blow...I love EVERYTHING!!!!!!
