Debby, I love black & white photos that have been tinted. It took such talent to do it well. What a great card!
ReplyDeleteI was intrigued by the names of Rita Martin and Lallie Charles so I did a bit of googling and discovered:
ReplyDelete"Margareta 'Rita' Martin started her photographic career in 1897 when she helped her elder sister Lallie Charles to run her studio. In 1906 she opened her own studio, working in a similar studio to Charles, photographing subjects in pale colours against a pure white background, and focused on actresses."
I love this, just stuuning lovely.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the note.
Hugs,Laura.
